Fragrance, Memories, and Soap!

The fresh and subtle fragrances in our soaps are truly special! They’re made from pure essential, and fragrance oils, and added to our soap in just the right amounts. I once read that scents are like bookmarks in the stories of our lives. They don’t just remind us of the past, they let us relive it, if only for a moment. I think that’s so beautiful and true!

 

My grandma had a lilac bush on the corner of her house, and in the spring, her house was full of lilac bouquets. She was my hero - an artist in everything she did - paint, sew, knit, crochet, or bake. She had so many talents. And, whenever I smell our Lilac Soap, I think of her.

My sweet mom was a devoted gardener. She had a lovely, meandering rose bed in the backyard, and, in the sunny front yard, her favorites were geraniums mixed with blue ageratum and white alyssum. Nurturing and caring for her flowers was her lifelong passion. So, of course, Rose Geranium is one of my favorite soaps.

The woodsy scented soaps, especially Cedarwood, and Pine, remind me of hanging out in my dad’s workshop. My sister and I loved watching him in his safety goggles, guiding the sander back and forth across a rough board. His workshop smelled like wood, sawdust, and lemon oil. Rustic, but so warm and inviting.

I could give many more examples because for every GrandGoat Soap, I could probably name a memory!
